Foundation of Siam Technical College
Siam University traces its origin to 1965, when Siam Technical College was established by Dr. Narong Mongkhonvanit.
Degree-Granting Institution Status
The institution was formally recognized as a higher education institution with authority to grant degrees.
Transition to Siam Technical University
Siam Technical College evolved into Siam Technical University, broadening its academic scope and institutional capacity.
Renamed as Siam University
The university adopted the name Siam University to reflect expanded disciplines beyond technical education.
International College Established
The International College was launched to support English-medium programs and global student mobility.
School of Medicine First Cohort
Following quality assessment in 2012, the School of Medicine opened its first semester in 2013.
Foundation of Siam Technical College
Established by Dr. Narong Mongkhonvanit as the origin of today’s Siam University.
